Pre – Marriage Beauty Tips For Brides

Since time immemorial, marriage has been a social and economic support base for women. However, with more women taking up corporate jobs and becoming economically empowered, it is doubtful if they will marry men for economic, let alone, social support.

In this blog, let us find some useful beauty tips for women whose marriage is just a few weeks or days away:

Assess Early

If you really want to get your skin in top form, you’ll need to start a smart skincare routine about a year in advance. It’s okay if you don’t have that long before the wedding day — just adopt these good skincare habits as soon as possible.

Schedule facials by an expert beautician

To refresh your skin, you should always consult an expert beautician. Take it on a regular basis to ensure your skin is refresh days ahead of your marriage.

Do not do facials at home, as the process takes preparation and special techniques that, if done at home, can lead to irritation, or worse, scarring. If you are prone to allergy do consult your doctor before a facial.

Eat more fruits

No matter what your skin type is — oily, dry, normal or combo — it craves water. Sure, drinking water helps, but snacking on watermelon works too. Other super foods for your face: grapefruit, broccoli and lettuce. Keep your body dehydrated and exercise and read your favourite book to reduce stress. This will help you overcome stress and keep your skin glowing.

Do not try new clinical methods during this period

Keeps your skin glowing by continuing the facials, body massages and body wraps at your salon. Do not try any new treatments or cosmetics at this stage. Stick to tried-and-tested products or services

Keep your hair healthy

Plan your pre-wedding hair trim, colouring and highlighting if you want. Don’t get tempted to do anything that’s completely radical. You have already decided on your look.If you have dry hair, try a hot-oil massage every third day. You can use sesame seed, almond or olive oil. Follow it by wrapping your hair in a towel dipped in hot water for five minutes. Talk to your stylist on how to treat your hair for the next seven days to keep it fit for styling on the big day; stick to trusted brands.

Manicure and pedicure

Polished finger nails of both hands and feet give an added appeal to your look. You must positively maintain clean and polished finger nails through bi-weekly manicures and pedicures.

Sleep and diet

Sleep is absolutely necessary before the wedding. Lack of sleep can give you dark circles before your wedding. A polished skin but dark circles under the eyes will not really look good. So, we advise that you sleep at least for 8-10 hours a day before your wedding
